By accessing or using Grub Guardian at grubguardian.shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Grub Guardian is a food inventory management application that helps users track food items, reduce waste, and save money. Features include barcode scanning, AI-powered image recognition, recipe generation, and gamified savings tracking.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Subscription & Payments

• Free Tier: Manual item entry, Quick Add, up to 10 inventory items, and basic recipe browsing.
• Pro Plan ($4.99/month): Unlimited items, AI image scanning, AI recipe generation, barcode scanner, and sharing features.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@grubguardian.shop.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

Grub Guardian uses artificial intelligence for image recognition and recipe generation. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated recipes are suggestions only. Always use your judgment regarding food safety.
• Image recognition may not always be accurate. Please verify item details before adding to inventory.
• Expiry date suggestions from AI should be confirmed against actual product labels.
• We are not liable for any issues arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Grub Guardian name, logo, and all related content are owned by Grub Guardian. You retain ownership of your inventory data and uploaded images. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as needed to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Grub Guardian is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@grubguardian.shop. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
